| New Zealand Wine, Russian movies, The Dark Knight |

Somewhere one our way from Queesntown to Christchurch
So I finally opened my AMAZING new favorite Pinot Noir, Oyster Bay from NZ I was very pleased with the majority of wines I tasted in NZ and brought almost $650 worth back home with me I even tried Oyster Bays' chardonnay which I usually can't stand, and it was fairly good
I went to work yesterday at 8 am Only to be told because we're cutting hours And had too many people working that day I could "go home if I wanted to" However, I can't argue with my manager and was pushed into a corner A phonecall WOULD have been nice since I woke up and walked to work In the cold and slight rain.... So I've had alot of free time since I don't go back untill friday I WAS going to clean...however I had a late night with my russians and friends from work We went to OB for a bit, then went to a russian market, got some beer (1 beer is about 12% alcohol..wtf) Got a movie and watched it at my house. Of course out of the 10 people over last night only Niyaz could figure it out however I gathered about 40% of what was happening and it actually helped me in hearing people talk and understanding the language more They eventually left And didn't wake up until 2 pm
I went to Sugar Cafe which is my favorite cafe I can walk to with free wi-fi Until 10 when it turns into a dance club and a ton of super tan girls wearing barely anything stumble in with a beer in one hand and a cigarette in the other I met some guy visiting from Colombia His english was very good and I took him to this colombian resturant We talked about movies and politics, what colombia is like and he had recently been to Paraguay, so he told me about it and said I should really go soon
He was super nice and tonight was his last night in the city So we saw the Dark Knight (I am SO blown away) Never have I been in a theatre where you could hear a pin drop in every scene Or has an audience given a movie a standing fucking ovation Which, however, was def. deserved.
Of course I came home and read everything on IMDB One of my favorite threads; "Theory that Ledger isn't dead, and faked his death for the next movie So it will be even bigger and more hype when B3 comes out And you see The Joker in the previews"
He died. Get over it. However if it does happen, Ledger should def. get a Jesus Award.

Daron doing the Haka, a maori war chant
Im still not quite there on the whole time change I usually get home from work around 3 everyday this week Then sleep Wake up around 7 and eat then shower and back to sleep Last night my russian buddies wanted to take me out to dinner I almost fell asleep in the middle of dinner
Ive decided that after school I'm for sure doing Peace Corps I have another meeting with the director of Photography on thursday She did Peace Corps after college and even though alot has changed in the past Twenty years she said she'll give me some packets and this number to call I think it would be a good experience and unless I get knocked up or married In the next two years I don't think I'll have any ties to keep me in the US To be honest I really dislike living here From my past five years of going around the world I tend to dislike comming back home more and more Not just because of the feeling that a vacation is "over", but I just feel I don't need to waste time here any longer than i need to
My friend isa joked around saying "after school, we all...we take you to russia...you take pictures. you like. you stay" It was pretty silly
This entry was basically an excuse to not unpack and clean my apartment But it's 7 and I still have so much to finish before work tomorrow UGhhhhhbgrhvjdklsl
